How do HD TVs Work ?

How do HD TVs Work ?
Most of us have come across the big flat screen “plasma” TV’s with the words “HD ready” stamped on them . What does HD mean and how do they differ from the old TV’s ?

OUR EXPLANATION
HD stands for High Definition .To try and understand the difference between the old TV’s and the plasma TV let us picture a maths exercise book. If you are told to draw the letter B in a 4 by 4 square . It would appear like picture 1. Now when you double the number of squares to a 8 by 8 square and draw the same letter it looks like picture 2.The second picture looks smoother because you have more squares to work with and so gives a clearer picture

CONCLUSION
HD TV’s give you a much more clearer picture because they have more math squares than regular TV’s . So when you see HD know that it means the TV has more maths squares than a regular TV
